About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Hospitalist to join Ascension St. Vincent Anderson, a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care and a level III trauma center. Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is a destination for specialty care, including cancer care, breast imaging and testing, hospice care, cardiac rehabilitation, and heart and vascular health.

Elevate patient outcomes by providing high-acuity care within our open ICU setting. Drive clinical excellence by managing a varied patient census while collaborating with a specialized team that handles all admissions. Foster clinical collaboration by integrating with growing provider groups across four hospital campuses and the greater Indianapolis medical community.

This is a W2 employed position with Ascension St. Vincent Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care within an open ICU setting.
• Manage a varied patient census while collaborating with a specialized team handling all admissions.
• Integrate with growing provider groups across multiple hospital campuses and the greater Indianapolis medical community.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• MD or DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board (obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date).
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Internal Medicine-trained physicians preferred; Family Medicine candidates considered in rare circumstances.
• New graduates welcome; prior hospitalist experience is a plus.
