Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrician Needed for PACE Clinic
About the role
A non-profit organization sponsored by Baptist Health, Baptist Health PACE offers an inclusive care program for participants to stay in their homes and communities. Services provided include primary and specialty physician services, adult day health center services, social services, family caregiver support, medical equipment, recreational therapy, physical and occupational therapy, personal care services, transportation, nutritional counseling, and home-delivered meals. Participants can receive medications as part of this comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide all primary and specialty physician services to participants.
- Assess patients in their homes or nursing home settings as needed.
- Occasionally cover at the Hot Springs PACE clinic.
- Work under the supervision of the current Medical Director and Advanced Practitioner.
- Work Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with minimal rotating call expectations.
Requirements
- BE/BC Family, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric training.
- Employed by Arkansas Health Group, a subsidiary of Baptist Health.
- Housed at the primary PACE Clinic in North Little Rock.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to participants and their families. Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative approach are essential. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) is beneficial.
