About the role
Intensivist Physician providing critical care on the Florida Gulf Coast near Tampa and Sarasota.
Responsibilities
- Cover 10 or more ICU shifts per month, each lasting 24 hours (12 hours on-site and 12 hours on call).
- Minimal patient calls due to experienced nurse practitioners on staff.
- Provide intensive care for diverse patient populations.
- Ensure high-quality patient management.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver advanced healthcare services including cardiac, emergency, surgical, orthopedic, radiology, oncology, and women’s and children’s health services.
Requirements
- Board certification in critical care or related specialty.
- Strong critical care skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary hospital team.
