Location: 3 days onsite per week in Chandler, AZ. W-2 engagement only.
About the role
As an Internal Cloud Release Manager, you will oversee release lifecycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services within a regulated environment where platform stability, auditability, and change controls are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Manage release lifecycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services.
- Coordinate release management, change management, and dependency tracking across complex, multi-team environments.
- Use Jira, Agile/SAFe tooling, and release tracking mechanisms to manage large delivery backlogs.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) to safely promote automated changes into production.
- Define release standards, readiness criteria, and governance frameworks for shared platforms.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience managing release lifecycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Agile/SAFe tooling, and release tracking mechanisms.
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience operating within regulated environments with mandatory platform stability, auditability, and change controls.
Qualifications
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), ITIL Change Management, or equivalent certification (desired).
- 5-7+ years supporting infrastructure or cloud platform releases at enterprise scale (desired).
- Experience releasing VMware-based platforms, internal clouds, or hybrid cloud environments (desired).
- Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience (desired).
Pay
$68 - $73 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, and other factors.
