Internal Auditor IT, Principal

About the role

The position will be responsible for working directly with the public, City Inspectors and section management to ensure appropriate customer service is delivered. Duties include responding to incoming complaint calls, resolving inspection and code enforcement issues that can be answered over the phone, inputting new complaints and records into established data bases, and responding to e-mail and voice mail complaints. This position will also input complaint referrals from other city agencies, assist the inspectors in the field with historical data, property status information and is responsible for processing required reports from the various databases.

Requirements

• Do you possess a high school diploma or GED certificate?
• Do you possess at least three years of clerical/technical experience in a code enforcement area such as Zoning, Parking, Right-of-Way, Animal Control, or Police Department etc?

Qualifications

• Describe your experience processing reports from databases.
• Describe your experience interpreting and explaining complex regulations, policies, standards, and/or procedures.
• Describe your experience handling complaint telephone calls.

Pay

$38,292.80 - $55,910.40 Annually
