INTERNAL AUDITOR (GRADE W9)

Responsibilities

• Perform internal or external audit tasks in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework / Global Internal Audit Standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA) for audit processes.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Travel to IIUM campuses as required.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Accountancy/Finance or professional qualification in Accountancy.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in internal audit or external audit.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, sound professional judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to work independently, adapt to change quickly, and multitask.
• High level of integrity, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
• Malaysian citizenship.

Qualifications

• Credits (at least C) in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• At least Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
