Internal Auditor

Role: Conducts independent audits for management and the Transit Commission. Responsibilities Plan and execute comprehensive audits covering financial, operational, asset, development, and performance areas.Analyze various activities to identify strengths and areas for improvement.Provide objective, actionable recommendations based on audit findings.Manage contracts with external vendors supporting outsourced audit functions. Qualifications & Skills Strong analytical skills to evaluate diverse activities and data.Ability to conduct thorough, independent audits with attention to detail.Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly and effectively.Knowledge of financial, operational, and performance metrics relevant to transit or similar organizations.
