Internal Audit Analytics Associate

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, this role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, influencing enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-depth data analysis using complex SQL queries to evaluate IT and security controls
• Validate system and model changes through thorough testing and documentation for stakeholders
• Produce accurate data extracts and translate complex requests into clear outputs
• Test ETL processes for data accuracy from source systems to repositories
• Design and enhance dashboards to provide actionable performance metrics
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT to gather audit evidence and convey findings

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably in tech, consulting, or fintech
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and managing large datasets on platforms like Snowflake
• Understanding of IT operations and cybersecurity to identify control gaps
• Experience with testing data ETL workflows for accuracy and completeness
• Ability to apply generative AI responsibly in analytics processes

Pay

$131,195 – $138,100 annually
