Intern, Youth Basketball
Responsibilities
- Ability to capture and edit digital content and assemble final video programs
- Assist in designing and developing marketing material that promotes youth basketball programs
- Creative mind – pitch ideas and brainstorm
- Set up and organize video content data filing system
- Able to be physically active on court and behind the scenes to execute Jr. Celtics programming
- Able to engage with a wide age range of participants and ability levels
- Help with in game marketing
- Overall dedication and understanding of youth development basketball training
- Help grow Jr. Celtics network through existing and new relationships with youth basketball organizations and facilities in the community
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong technology skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment
- Physical strength to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to work scheduled home games and events
About the Role
The mission of the Boston Celtics internship program is to educate its participants in all aspects of operating a professional sports organization. Through observation and practical experience, interns learn how to function in a professional environment that requires a high energy level, the ability to perform under pressure and the utilization of essential time management skills. Through these developments, the Boston Celtics strive to successfully prepare their interns to compete for positions in the professional sports industry.
