Essential Functions
- Supports the creation of new programming and resources to engage USA Football Stakeholders.
- Provides support for coach education.
- Provides support for official’s education.
- Provides support for parent/guardian and athlete education.
- Affords assistance with the enhancement and evolution of educational content.
- Develops USA Football Institute resources.
- Supports the execution of educational events.
- Affords assistance in the development of content.
- Suggests useful resource materials.
- Provides progress reports to appropriate USA Football stakeholders.
- Supports the USA Football advisory council structure.
- Observes the work of the committee.
- Provides input on agendas and supplements in preparation for meetings.
- Maintains committee contact information.
- Attends committee meetings.
- Represents USA Football, in presentations, at clinics, at conventions, and meetings as requested and assigned.
- Attends team meetings and other staff meetings as assigned, summarizes notes, and provides feedback as needed.
- Supports the acquisition of information on current rules and regulations related to youth and high school football.
- Stays current and reports on health and safety topics related to football.
- Stays current and reports on athlete development and training techniques, technologies, and products that directly or indirectly serve to advance the game of football.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Sport Development Team.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstration of teamwork and interpersonal skills is essential.
- Extensive computer knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of national sports governing bodies structure and function.
- Ability to work independently.
Education Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university, recently graduated from an accredited college or university, or currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school.
- A field of study in Education, Sports Management, Health and Human Performance, or a related discipline is preferred.
