Intern – Website Maintenance and Innovation
Responsibilities
- Aiding in the update of web pages and other related documents
- Drafting website, social media, and publication content for supervisor approval
- Supporting the update of web media and digital compositions using Adobe Suites
- Assisting with research and the use of analytic platforms (e.g., Google Suite, Siteimprove)
- Collaborating with supervisors to utilize Artificial Intelligence to enhance usability
- Maintaining contact lists and generating standardized reports
- Representing NCTCOG’s goals and mission
Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen, coordinate, and present ideas
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail, high organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a degree-seeking program
- Basic understanding of web design, HTML, CSS, or similar software
- No prior work experience required
- At least one year of school-related experience
Benefits
The starting salary is $17.10 per hour.

The schedule is flexible, allowing for at least 15 – 25 hours per week.
Skills
Skills include good communication, both verbal and written, interpersonal skills, and creative thinking. Ideal candidates should also possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
