About the role
The eCommerce intern will gain hands-on experience in various functions of a digital Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business, including merchandising, marketing, operations, planning, and creative briefing.
Responsibilities
- Support daily marketing and operations on Narscosmetics.com & Drunkelephant.com to achieve aggressive sales targets
- Ensure continuity and stability of the brand’s digital flagship
- Explore and benchmark the digital landscape, reporting findings to broader teams
- Perform quality assurance for the site daily, logging bugs and escalating issues
- Partner with Associate Manager, eCommerce to brief, configure, and QA promotions, GWPs, and on-site content initiatives
- Identify opportunities and work cross-functionally to report findings and propose ideas/solutions
- Conduct weekly inventory checks, monitoring upcoming launches and promotions
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- An understanding of the Beauty and eCommerce industry
- A sense of curiosity, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- An interest in all things digital with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
- Able to work collaboratively on a team, as well as cross-functionally
- Prior Beauty and/or eCommerce internship experience preferable
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, analytical, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results-oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
