About the role

A responsive recruiter for a locally rooted, fast-moving insurance agency that believes in doing business the right way. Responsibilities include establishing customer relationships, using a customer-focused review process to educate customers about insurance options, developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services. Requirements include interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs, excellent communication skills, people-oriented qualities, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and ability to learn computer functions. The position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Compensation is $17.00 per hour.
