Responsibilities
- Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed-upon expectations.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
Requirements
- Full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
- Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
Our office is located in Bluffdale, UT. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Saturday & evenings by appointment.
Stu Anderson has been a State Farm agent since 2013 and is a proud graduate of the University of Phoenix. Our agency currently has 6 team members and has received awards including: Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, and New Agent Program Qualifier. Additional languages spoken: Spanish and French.
