Intern - Social Work - MSW
What You'll Help With
The Intern supports departmental operations within an assigned department while gaining hands-on, practical experience in the healthcare field. Interns work under the supervision of a department leader or designee and contribute to daily operations, projects such as research or strategic initiatives as well as other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Two years of high school required. Some internships may require a bachelor's degree; or enrolled in and nearing completion of an undergraduate degree or terminal degree in a field relevant to the internship
- Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Clinical interns may be required to be enrolled in an accredited professional program (e.g., pharmacy, nursing, allied health) and meet regulatory or licensure-related requirements.
- Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work efficiently, manage time wisely, and follow policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Must be at least 16 years of age. Assignments that use chemicals or power tools require intern to be at least 18 years of age.
