Intern Sleep Lab

Location: Charlottesville, VA

About the role

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is offering a paid 18-month Sleep Lab Internship. Interns will learn and train under Certified Polysomnographic Technicians, working full-time rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and complete detailed documentation and patient packets
• Set patients up on sleep devices
• Monitor patients during sleep studies (day and night studies)
• Communicate with the sleep team and medical team

Upon completion of the internship, the intern will obtain licensure to work independently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent GED (Required)
• RPSGT certification required within 18 months of hire
• Previous healthcare experience (Preferred)
