About the role

Under close supervision, assists in various day-to-day research-related activities across projects as assigned, working on a variety of topics related to health and health care. Specific research topics for this position include but are not limited to: mobile and digital health, health information technology, and chronic condition management.

Responsibilities

• Helps in recruitment and enrollment of participants into research studies. (20%)
• Helps in engaging patients over the course of the project in intake and follow-up visits as needed. (10%)
• Aids in collecting research data in accordance with study protocols, including both quantitative and qualitative data. (10%)
• Assists in the adherence to research policies, procedures, good clinical practice, study protocols, and other specified project parameters. (10%)
• Performs data entry into research databases and other information systems as appropriate. (10%)
• Engages in quality assurance to ensure that data are accurate and well-organized. (10%)
• Conducts literature reviews as needed and presents synthesized results. (10%)
• Assists with preparation of project deliverables. (10%)
• Participates in departmental, team, and project-related meetings. (10%)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a research team
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to accurately enter and track research data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$21.00 - $24.12 / hr
