About the role

The Production Internship at Polaris Inc. offers hands-on learning opportunities within our manufacturing processes. Additionally, interns can enroll in our Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Course and pursue certification during their internship.

Responsibilities

• Learn how Polaris manufactures its products
• Enroll in and test for Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification
• Perform assembly tasks such as installing subsystems, parts, and components onto moving assembly lines
• Ensure quality through checks and inspections
• Operate various power tools, hoists, and production equipment
• Work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment as part of a team to improve processes
• Lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 8 hours per day

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Base Pay Range: $20.71 - $24.45
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing

Base Pay Range: $20.71 - $24.45
