Job Summary

Cover Ergonomic Assessments
Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
Participate in Operation Overwatch 1 Special Project (TBD)

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing employees in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study.
• Assist with operational craft, manual tasks, or project support.
• Learn manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Job shadow other more experienced professionals and/or support staff.
• Support the documentation and updates of procedures or work instructions.
• Handle basic issues and problems.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:
• Must be currently enrolled in related Manufacturing courses or be within 6 months of graduation.
• No prior experience needed.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Attentiveness.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
• This position is Safety-Sensitive.

Travel Requirements

• No or very little travel likely.
