About the role
This is a part-time, on-site internship at our Columbia, Missouri location for the Fall 2026 semester. The ideal candidate should be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.
Responsibilities
- Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis
- Development of site-specific safety trainings
- Digitization of EHS documents
- Projects around top 5 hazards
- Lead 5s safety initiatives
- Ergonomic assessments
- Behavior-Based safety
- Environmental sustainability champion
- Site Green team champion
- Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals
Requirements
- Working towards a Science, Engineering, or Safety & Environmental degree
- Junior or Senior standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data analytics

For this U.S.-based position, the expected pay range is USD 0 per year (base pay and short-term incentives). Individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
