Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Administrative & Program Support Intern to assist with a variety of administrative, training, compliance, employee engagement, and operational support activities across the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update databases, tracking systems, and department records.
  • Conduct data entry, recordkeeping, and document management activities.
  • Aid in employee training administration, scheduling, preparation, and delivery of training materials.
  • Perform workplace inspections and document observations, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives.
  • Aid in EHS audits, assessments, inspections, and follow-up activities.
  • Aid in Human Resources events, employee engagement activities, and site-wide programs.
  • Aid in employee communications, presentations, posters, and awareness campaigns.
  • Help organize meetings, events, and department activities.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other administrative documents.
  • Scan, file, organize, and maintain electronic and physical records.
  • Aid managers with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative and program support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: 2-3 years of office or administrative experience. Actively enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program related to Environmental Health & Safety or business fields. Available to work 20-30 hours per week.
  • Required Skills & Traits: Highly organized and detail oriented. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Fast and accurate data entry and database management skills. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Willing to work in both office and manufacturing environments. Willing to roll up their sleeves and assist wherever needed.
