Tasks

During this internship, you will support the development and implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives and concepts that drive operational excellence, improve business performance, and help the Parts organization achieve its key objectives.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including multiple business units within PCNA business, logistics organizations, and teams in Germany.

  • Assist Parts Planning Manager to ensure day to day tactical work aligns with overall strategic vision of department
  • Assist team business owners in alignment with Parts Planning Manager process to ensure project structure and accountability
  • Support and execute multiple projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Education Required qualifications include: Minimum Senior in undergraduate studies. Preferred Qualifications Include Post graduate preferredUndergraduate degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, and or Data Analytics preferred
  • Comfort and experience working with data and database tools like SQL is a plus
  • Comfort and experience working with data visualization tools, i.e.: Tableau, Micro Strategy is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strategic and Continuous improvement mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (Project for the Web preferred))
  • Must be organized, positive, proactive, results-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large scale data to build the reporting solutions
  • Absorb and apply project methodology
  • Assist in the demonstration through proof of concepts and present them to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand the business requirements, translate them to technical design and requirements and build scalable and sustainable reporting solutions, with transition to automation in mind
  • Six Sigma or Lean Management Certification

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment
