Intern - Nurse II - Med/Surg Nights

About the Role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to ensure quality care. Handles service functions and communicates effectively with staff, patients, and guests. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under a registered nurse’s guidance.
• Assists in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Evaluates patient progress and updates care plans accordingly.
• Provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff.
• Participates in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Requirements

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure; maximum 90-day period in Nurse Intern II role.
• Computer literacy.
• Certification in BLS within 14 days of hire.
