Intern Nurse II

About the Role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality outcomes. Handles service functions and communication with staff, patients, and guests. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Contributes to care plan development and implements it accordingly.
• Evaluates and updates the plan of care under supervision.
• Provides patient care and supports nursing staff as directed.
• Engages in activities to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and participates in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure.
• Maximum of 90 days in the Nurse Intern II role post-graduation.

Skills

• Computer literacy (required).

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire (required).
