Intern: Network Operations Center

NOC Intern Technician Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional response to emails and phone calls
• Identify, remediate, and document issues / outages in accordance with operational runbooks
• Escalate service interruptions / outages in accordance with established agreements, obligations, and procedures
• Provide ongoing status updates for outstanding issues and ensure remediation is tracked to completion / customer satisfaction
• Perform routine event and alarm monitoring in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Perform start of day and end of day routine tasks per standard operating procedures
• Perform basic and routine operational/administrative tasks necessary to maintain and manage key systems per standard operating procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours escalation

• Highschool Diploma
• Must complete at least one of the qualifying industry IT certifications within the 90-day timeframe. (ie: CompTIA, A+, Network+)
