Position Description

Aid in daily tasks pertinent to a construction project to gain foundational knowledge in construction management, financial management, safety protocols, subcontractor relations, quality control, and project coordination.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
  • Follow project site signage and supervisor instructions.
  • Provide regular progress reports to supervisors and engage in continuous learning.
  • Apply academic knowledge to practical work activities.
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, and orientations.
  • Comply with safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on project needs.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or pursuing a college or university degree in fields such as Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
  • At least 1 year of completed education or equivalent experience.
  • Age 18 or older for on-site construction work.
  • Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
  • Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to assume personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and participate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
