Intern, Investor Center - Cary, NC

About the role

As a Branch Intern, you play a key role in the client experience at a Fidelity Investor Center. Working alongside expert financial professionals, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with a broad range of investment products and services, and gain valuable exposure to personal investing and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in significant work assignments designed to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry while developing critical business, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Collaborate with team members to address business challenges, identify opportunities for process improvements, and bring fresh perspectives that help enhance both client and business outcomes.
• Gain hands‑on experience supporting business‑critical initiatives while receiving ongoing coaching and mentorship from managers and branch professionals.
• Join professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities to support career growth and deepen understanding of Fidelity’s business and culture.
• Connect with fellow FIDTERNs and professionals across the organization through in‑person and virtual experiences.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students in your junior year of college
• Interest in investing and wealth management
• Experience in customer service, retail, sales or banking
• Leadership experience and involvement in student organizations
