Intern, Internal Audit

About the role

Encova Insurance is seeking an Intern, Internal Audit for its Columbus, Ohio corporate office. This is a full‑time summer internship for summer 2027 requiring at least 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule (days in the office each week) and start/end dates based on availability and business need.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting performance, financial, compliance and integrated audit projects.
• Learn to manage real‑world situations alongside Encova associates.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Completed at least 60 credit hours.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting (preferred) or a related field (business administration, finance, public administration) with an accounting minor.
• Must reside and be able to work in one of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.
