About the role
Forvis Mazars Healthcare’s Healthcare Performance Improvement practice helps clients achieve sustainable results by identifying opportunities and implementing performance improvement initiatives. The role involves data analysis, market research, action-plan creation, and implementation assistance for client revenue improvement or savings initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform benchmarking analysis and analyze financial records to identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
- Assist in creating project-related provisions such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models.
- Create and deliver presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist clients in implementing recommendations that drive economic and operational value.
- Interface with all levels of management both internally and at client sites.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or other master’s program focused on business, finance, or healthcare.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Ability to travel depending on client commitments.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Pay
For the Illinois market, the salary range for this role is $28–$32 per hour. Non-exempt/hourly positions are eligible for overtime pay (time and a half) for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Salary will be based on the individual’s experience, education, and skill set. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to adjust the salary range based on business needs.
