Intern, Finance TV Distribution & Networks

Responsibilities

• Work on clearing of unapplied cash accounts.
• Aid in the preparation of Settlement statements to process payments owed to third party networks for regional collections.
• Prepare Agency incentive reconciliations to ensure accruals are properly updated on a quarterly basis.
• Aid in the monthly reconciliation of Digital revenues and expenses.
• Aid in Withholding tax certificate reconciliations.
• Aid in the monthly close process by parking journal entries related to cash, balance sheet, and receivables balances.
• Aid in reviewing Cash and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Prepare of monthly A/R status reports.

Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel including conditional formulas.
• Detailed financial analysis to identify patterns and trends and make recommendations.
• Quickly grasp new concepts and solve problems.
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented, well organized and analytical.
• Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills

• Bilingual, fluency in Spanish is preferred.
