Intern - EHS
About the Role
This position reports to the EHS Specialist and is located in Garden Grove, CA. It is a 3-6 month internship, available full-time or part-time, with a 1st shift schedule. The role involves assisting in identifying environmental regulations and risks in the metal finishing industry, collaborating with Operations, Planning, Quality Assurance, and the EHS Coordinator to implement compliance systems, and adhering to internal and external policies.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to communication procedures
- Follow work instructions, specifications, manuals, checklists, and other relevant documents
- Perform daily data entry and maintain logs and files
- Provide administrative support to meet departmental needs
- Maintain work area and office
- Enter and maintain data in automated systems
- Work independently with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required

Pay
Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must meet ITAR requirements prior to employment.
