About the role

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn the various types of equipment that United Rentals rents and their applications.
• Learn both manual and maintenance tasks to support the branch operation.
• Provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics.
• Improve and challenge yourself every day.
• Have the potential to work towards service technician roles in our Service Department upon receipt of degree and/or certification.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED and pursuing technical degree or certification.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• A strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• A self-motivated individual with a strong drive and sense of urgency.
• A superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
