About the role

Delta seeks Undergraduate Interns for the Commercial Strategy Analyst (CSA) Program Internship. This paid Summer 2027 internship program is designed to accelerate the development of high-potential analysts by deepening their understanding of Delta's business, expanding their skills and providing opportunities to develop leadership capabilities. Successful interns may be offered a full-time job upon completion of their internship based on their performance.

Employment opportunities

  • Network Planning: Craft route structures, analyze new city and route opportunities, and determine capacity response to competitive actions.
  • Revenue Management: Optimize Delta revenue through valuing passengers, forecasting future demand & initialing pricing actions.
  • Global Sales & Cargo: Analyze the financial contribution of corporations and agencies or optimize revenue for Delta's cargo network.
  • Customer Experience & Design: Refine the customer experience at the airport and onboard through improvements to technology, products & services.
  • Digital: Power the travel journey with world-class Digital experiences that empower, engage, and inspire our customers and our people.
  • Marketing: Build Delta's brand strategy and develop marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Loyalty: Grow the loyal customer base and premium revenue through the SkyMiles program and AMEX co-brand.
  • Reservations: Propose recommendations for process improvements and a better customer experience for call centers.

Minimum qualifications

  • You are a rising senior in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of Spring/Summer 2028.
  • Candidates who have graduated and are employed full-time will not be considered.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
  • This position requires student to work full-time during the Summer 2027 semester. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters.
  • Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the Co-op.
  • Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to interpret data, use it to form concrete business actions, and present findings.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications

  • Ideal candidates have demonstrated to be a collaborator and creative problem-solvers.
  • Prior Internships/Co-Op/Extracurricular experiences are recommended.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Tableau, SQL, Delta internal tools and software preferred.
