About the role

The Logistics and Storage intern/co-op program identifies and develops future technical and leadership talent for MPC, the engineering intern/co-op, and the engineering profession. Interns/co-ops gain experience in the 5 phases of the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP): Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation, and Start-up/Close-out. They also have the opportunity to rotate between different L&S components.

Responsibilities

  • Development of project scope
  • Engineering oversight
  • Technical design
  • Cost estimating
  • Schedule development
  • Evaluating and summarizing bid sets
  • Construction supervision
  • Safety leadership
  • Coordination with operations groups
  • Project documentation
  • Travel to construction sites (15-45%)

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program
  • Strong academic performance
  • Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
  • Multiple work terms preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Military experience a plus

Pay

Min/Max: $0.00 - $999.99 hourly

Schedule

Positions are available Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Travel ranges from 15-45%.
