About the role
Halff is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our teams in the Frisco office. The intern will assist with a variety of civil engineering projects under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design civil engineering projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Perform drafting and CAD work
- Conduct calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in preparing permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET-accredited equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Pay
Interns are paid hourly, with a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
