Intern, Business Development and Alliance Management
About the Role
The Business Development & Alliance Management team under the Chief Legal & Business Officer steers BioNTech's business development of new partnerships and alliance management of existing external collaborations with strategic partners, which include pharmaceutical companies and biotech’s.
Contribution
- Coordination of contractual obligations related to multi-partner, multi-asset clinical trial combination strategies
- Identifying and helping implement a fit-for-purpose Alliance Health Check platform
- S supporting the development of an alliance management and collaborations playbook
- Contributing to other business alliance initiatives, as assigned, based on the candidate’s education and/or experience (e.g., establishing a royalty monitoring function or implementation of tools for contracts obligation management)
A Good Match
- Completed at least three (3) years of undergraduate coursework in biology, business or a related field, with an interest in R&D;
- or currently enrolled in a graduate program such as an MBA, PharmD, or MD with an interest in Biotechnology.
- Minimum of approximately 3.2 GPA
- Past experiences in a pharmaceutical/biotech company, life sciences consulting, or clinical research
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a passion to learn
- Responsible and able to sensitivity handle confidential Information
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
