About the role
The Sales Intern will assist in identifying potential clients and developing new business opportunities. They will participate in direct sales activities such as quotes and follow-up, support the sales team with territory management tasks, and analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients and develop new business opportunities
- Participate in direct sales activities, including quotes and follow-up
- Support the sales team with territory management tasks, ensuring effective coverage and client engagement
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Collaborate with team members on various projects aimed at improving overall sales performance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong interest in business development and direct sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to analyze data and market trends effectively
- Basic understanding of negotiation techniques and sales processes
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and contributing to team goals
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required
- Intermediate computer skills including Excel
Qualifications
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00
