We operate a wide range of services including psychiatric urgent care, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with community agencies on behalf of clients
- Handle crisis calls professionally and calmly
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for patients in crisis
- Coordinate admissions and intakes, including insurance authorizations
- Refer patients to outpatient services as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely medical record documentation
- Organize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Adhere to ethical standards and demonstrate competency in required training
- Participate in departmental and staff meetings
- Serve on programs or organizational committees as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited Social Work program. They must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm for the program and organization, and a commitment to ethical practice. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

- Proven ability to handle crisis situations professionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Passing a criminal background check and drug screening

Schedule
The Intern – Assessment & Referral Clinician position is available on a flexible schedule to accommodate the 24/7 operation of the Contact Center. This may include evening and weekend shifts.
