About the role

Church Mutual's Internship program runs the day after Memorial Day through mid August, when students return to school. During the paid summer program you will learn key actuarial and insurance concepts and how they are applied at Church Mutual Group.

Responsibilities

• Project work that will allow you to apply actuarial techniques and explain their methods, assumptions, and results working on a variety of projects.
• Participate in insurance training.
• Offsite visits.
• Internal discussions with senior leaders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Preferred candidates will be entering Junior or Senior year status in Fall of 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Successful completion of an actuarial exam is preferred but not required.

• Interest in pursuing an actuarial or data analytics career upon graduation.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of actuarial‑related work.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
