Responsibilities
- Learn key actuarial and insurance concepts and how they are applied at Church Mutual Group.
- Perform project work that applies actuarial techniques and explains their methods, assumptions, and results across a variety of projects.
- Participate in insurance training.
- Attend offsite visits.
- Engage in internal discussions with senior leaders.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Preferred candidates will be entering Junior or Senior year status in Fall of 2027.
- Interest in pursuing an actuarial or data analytics career upon graduation.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of actuarial‑related work.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Successful completion of an actuarial exam is preferred but not required.
Schedule
The paid summer internship runs from the day after Memorial Day through mid‑August, when students return to school.
