About the role
We are looking for an Intern undertaking computer/accountancy degrees and in their final year of study to join us part-time for a period of up to one year. This is a paid internship.
As an Intern, we will focus on providing training and mentoring into how a consultant at a software company operates. While you are an Intern, we will not use you in any client billing capacity, though we will provide some client contact as part of our team so you gain an understanding of how that works.
While we have no fixed expectations around you continuing a career with us after your studies, we plan to hire Consultants in 2027 and can offer a roadmap toward becoming a full consultant if both parties are happy.
Modulate is an Auckland-based organisation with main offices on the North Shore. We specialize in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV, and LS Retail software, supplying solutions in New Zealand and Australia. This role is based in our Auckland (North Shore) office, and you will be required to work on-site, not remotely.
Schedule
Hours are flexible, averaging around 12 hours per week, and will be agreed upon to fit with your study commitments.
Requirements
- Driving license (clean, no demerits)
- Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Within easy commute of Rosedale, Albany (office-based role)
- Native English language standard (spoken and written fluency)
- Course of study should be IT, Accounts, or Business-related
- About to start or currently in your last year of study
Skills
- Good understanding of and aptitude for data flows between systems
- Comfortable with an element of coding
- Quick learner with good interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical, reasoning, and verbal competency skills
