About the role
The Glasgow Police Department is seeking an Intermediate Supervisor position. Previous law enforcement experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor officers
- Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations and provide evidence-based solutions
- Train and develop new officers
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies
Requirements
- Previous law enforcement experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of law enforcement experience
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
- Sign on bonus of $3000 after the first year and $3000 upon completion of two years of service

Pay
- Sergeant: $26.39 per hour
- Lieutenant: $26.64 per hour
- Assistant Chief: Negotiable
