Intermediate Project Manager
About the role
AB Architekten is an award-winning, full-service architecture and design firm located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The office is engaged in a diverse range of work including multi-family residential, commercial development, and hospitality projects in New York City, on Long Island, and in Upstate, New York. The scale of these projects ranges from master planning to interior remodeling.
Responsibilities
- Play a meaningful role in all phases of projects, working directly with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Work independently on multiple projects, as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative, team environment.
- Manage construction drawings and construction administration processes.
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, filing process, and zoning regulations.
Requirements
- 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree or higher
- 3 to 7 years of architectural office experience, NYC experience a plus
- Experience with production of construction drawings
- Experience with construction detailing and materials
- Experience with Construction Administration
- Project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCad, and 3-D (Rhino/V-Ray/SketchUp), Photoshop and InDesign
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, filing process, and zoning regulations is a plus

Pay
$85,000 - $110,000 annually
