Job Summary

COOKFOX Architects is seeking a creative Interior Architectural Designer with 5 years or more of professional experience to join our studio.

About the Role

This position has direct exposure to the design process of highly crafted, award-winning interior spaces and offers the mentorship of experienced architects within our team to enable the selected candidate to grow as a designer. The position focuses on the interior architectural scope and includes the selection of finishes and fixtures, the development of architectural and millwork details, and the coordination of trades including MEP and lighting.

Responsibilities

  • Selects finishes and fixtures for interior spaces
  • Develops architectural and millwork details
  • Coordinates with MEP and lighting trades

Requirements

  • 5 or more years professional experience in an architectural or interior design studio
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Experience working on multiple interiors projects: high-end, multi-family residential and/or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of interiors-related building codes and standards; sustainability and health and wellness standards a plus

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, management and mentorship skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and professionalism in dealing with a diverse clients, consultants, and vendors
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and organized
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite required; SketchUp and AutoCad a plus

Pay and Schedule

$85,000 - $95,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday
