About the role
Integrated Design is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of Energy & Resources projects across North America and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Assist/lead with overall project electrical design
- Prioritize quality while meeting deliverable deadlines
- Maintain project scope and adhere to project budgets
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants
- Support/lead technical sections of proposal pursuits
- Develop and manage project scope, budget, design approach, staffing, and schedule
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines within the project team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship for junior engineers and designers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineering license required
- Eligibility for a Professional Engineering license in any U.S. State
- 7+ years of engineering and design experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with a range of internal and external customers

- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Skills
- Capable of conducting field investigations
- Skilled in liaising with clients, carrying out detailed planning studies, preparing design calculations, authoring technical reports, delivering presentations to stakeholders, leading the development of construction packages, estimating construction costs, monitoring and supporting construction, participating in commissioning, and contributing to business development activities

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $123,300.00 annually. Stantec offers a flexible work environment with a typical office setting, occasional field work, and a preference for working from the office at least two days per week. However, hybrid work arrangements are also considered.
