About the role

As a Civil Designer in Houston, TX, you will provide engineering deliverables and technical support while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals. Our flat organizational structure fosters openness and participation, allowing you to work on meaningful projects both locally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Overall earthworks design for diverse projects
- Design access roads for mining, energy, and infrastructure-related facilities
- Design and model drainage and stormwater management systems
- Design and model site grading
- Prepare 3D models and produce drawings
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines such as Structure, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical
Requirements
- Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from an accredited college
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Work experience completing design assignments for mine sites, including site grading, drainage, trenching, earthworks, and linear infrastructure projects
- Experience in civil infrastructure, site planning, and linear alignment design
- Thorough understanding of inter-discipline requirements
Skills
- Strong design software skills, including demonstrated experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, InRoads, MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
