Intermediate Care Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse in the Medical Intermediate unit, providing specialized bedside care to adult patients with complex, acute, and chronic conditions such as cardiac and post-surgical cases. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications accurately and safely.Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment.Educate patients and families about their conditions and care processes.Support quality, safety, and throughput initiatives within the unit.Mentor and support nursing staff to promote a collaborative environment. Qualifications & Skills Current Registered Nurse licensure.Experience with complex adult patient care preferred.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, teaching hospital setting.
