Heitler Houstoun Architects (HHA) is an award-winning, Manhattan-based architecture and interior design studio seeking talented and motivated Intermediate Architects / Job Captains to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and organization of construction document sets
- Translate design intent into well-resolved, buildable drawings
- Maintain consistency with office standards and ensure overall drawing quality
- Coverage subconsultants and integrate their work into project documentation
- Demonstrate strong understanding of building systems, materials, and detailing
- Apply working knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to quality control across all phases of documentation and delivery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino and V-Ray preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Support internal project management within small teams (2–3 members)
- Manage schedules, deadlines, and coordination across disciplines
- Communicate effectively with team members, consultants, and clients

- Retail build-outs (beauty, wellness, fitness, apparel)
- Multi-family residential new construction
- Single-family residential
- Residential renovations (apartments, brownstones)
- Commercial interiors
