Interior Technician

Daily Responsibilities

• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures.
• Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform and document work performed according to the appropriate manuals and regulations required.
• Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
• Perform inspection of identify parts needed and order the parts.
• Perform assigned duties as assigned.

Additional Duties

• May assist with maintenance / open close activity.
• Clean aircraft and components as required.
• Assist in Continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Typically, 0 - 2 years interiors experience (i.e., installing / finishing upholstery, aircraft interiors, and / or interior fixtures etc.).
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to Inspect all interior components / related fixtures.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
• Planning and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of aircraft interior repairs.
• Knowledge of sewing/upholstery repairs.
• Knowledge of time estimating.
• Ability to develop new processes to reduce man-hours / material waste.
• A “” Certification or Repairman certificate.
