Job Description
- Perform typical maintenance operations such as removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components.
- Repair, modify, replace or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Complete tasks to AerSale, Inc., FAA, and customer quality standards.
- Read and use Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, and other related maintenance documents.
- Aircraft maintenance documents must be accurate and properly annotated.
- Ensure documents are returned to the Technical Library or destroyed after jobs are complete.
- Operate and use ground support equipment safely and obtain AerSale, Inc. operating certification.
- Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring self and others.
- Execute parts tags correctly on repairable, serviceable, or condemned parts.
- Communicate effectively with management, other departments, and colleagues.
- Keep work areas clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work any or all shifts.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Perform tasks involving lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, and service stands.
- Have normal corrected hearing and vision.
- Drive company vehicles with a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- An A&P License is preferred and/or 2-10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Own tools as indicated on the Company Tool List.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and service stands.
- Must have normal corrected hearing and vision.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
